Jay Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean are being sued for allegedly stealing a song.

According to TMZ, the group is being accused of stealing a song by a street peddler named Joel Mac. Mac claims that the trio’s song “Made in America” from Jay Z’s Watch the Throne album was stolen from his song of the same name. Apparently, one of the producers on the Watch the Throne album bought Mac’s CD and then the song appeared on Jay Z’s album. Keep reading for more details!

According to Mac, he was selling his CD outside of the Mercer Hotel in New York City a few years ago, the location where the group was working on Jay Z’s Watch the Throne album. Then, one of the producers on the album, Mike Dean, bought the CD.

So, after Jay Z’s album came out, the song was on the album. Now, Mac is claiming that the group stole the song from him and he wants a cut of the profits. Back in September, a similar lawsuit was filed by Mac with the New York State court.
