Kathy Griffin Confirms She Was Offered ‘Fashion Police’ Job After Joan Rivers’ Passing

Celebs Honor Joan
Stars arrive at Joan Rivers' funeral to pay their respects.
Kathy Griffin has confirmed that she was offered a job at Fashion Police.

After the passing of her good friend and fellow comedian, Joan Rivers, Griffin was rumored to be E!’s choice to fill in for Rivers when the show returns next year. Griffin has now confirmed the news with Access Hollywood, but revealed she hasn’t accepted the offer.

While no one could ever replace Rivers, the network is looking for someone to help fill her position on Fashion Police. After Rivers’ passing in September, rumors started flying that E! had offered Griffin a spot on the show.

When asked about the rumors, Griffin revealed to AH, “Well, they did offer it to me. I don’t know if the situation is correct at this time for me, or right for me at this time. But I will say, whatever they do, I really hope that they continue in the spirit of Joan’s work and what Joan represents.”
