Taylor Swift’s new album, 1989, has sold sold 1.287 million copies in its first week alone!

This is Swift’s third album in a row to not only debut at No. 1, but also sell over a million copies in its first week! Wow! Read on to find out how Swift celebrated the news!

1989 is the first album to go platinum this year. Billboard is also reporting that 1989 has the largest sales week since Eminem’s The Eminem Show album in June 2002!
