Selena Gomez Delivers Heart Wrenching New Music Video, Clearly About Justin Bieber

Details on Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's rendezvous.
Selena Gomez is putting it all out there: taking risks by releasing new music with barely any promotion behind it and starting it all off with a video for “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” a song that delivers a heart wrenching message clearly dedicated to her relationship with Justin Bieber.

“When I was on stage and I was thinking of… I felt like I know him, and I know his heart,” a recording of her voice opens the black and white video, SelGo crying as she talks.  “And I know what he wouldn’t do to hurt me.  But I didn’t realize that feeling so confident and so great around myself… And then it can be completely shattered by one thing.  By something so stupid.  But then you make me feel so crazy.  You make me feel like it’s my fault.  I was in pain.”

The video cuts back and forth between a crying Gomez and an alcohol-filled party scene in which she sits closely beside the person playing her boyfriend as women constantly show him attention–likely a symbol for the lifestyle she’s had to deal with in dating a high-profile person like Bieber.  The video also depicts the sexuality of the relationship, showing steamy scenes between the couple as they hook up in various locations.

While many will likely cringe at the idea of Gomez wasting her time crying over Bieber, the song truly depicts the raw emotions of first love and the heartbreak that comes along with it.  You can almost feel her pain just by watching.
