J.Law and the cast hit the red carpet in London.
This one goes out to #TeamGale.

Liam Hemsworth says his The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt.1 co-star, Jennifer Lawrence, was instrumental in helping him get past his very public split with Miley Cyrus last year.

Speaking with the AP, Hemsworth said, “Being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I’m much happier.”

Then came what some might construe as a bit of Cyrus shade: “For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment.”

Of the media attention that followed the announcement of his split from Cyrus, Hemsworth says he tried not to let it get to him. “What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that’s all that matters,” he said. “I know I’m a good person and these days I feel like I’m more centered and grounded than I’ve ever been.”

Hemsworth and Cyrus broke off their engagement last fall. Both have gone on record saying they still love each other and have reiterated that the breakup was amicable, despite reports (and Bangerz Tour stunts) to the contrary.

Cyrus is reportedly currently back together with Patrick Schwarzenegger. Lawrence, of course, has been dating Coldplay’s Chris Martin. (Or maybe not. Unclear. But probably.) Hemsworth was rumored to have been datingNina Dobrev earlier this year but has not been tied to anyone in recent months.

Maybe he’s still holding out hope things will work out with Katniss.
