Adam Levine Performs “Animals” on ‘The Voice’, But We Can’t Vote Him Off the Show

Instant Follow Friday!
Adam Levine knows he looks like a drug dealer.
Even though Adam Levine performed on The Voices first live show last night, viewers unfortunately weren’t allowed to vote him off.

Adam may one of this season’s judges on the hit singing show (alongside Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, and Blake Shelton), but that doesn’t mean we have to love him.

Monday night was Day 1 of the live rounds, and Maroon 5 kicked off the show with their performance of “Animals“, which you may remember had that awfully misogynistic NSFW video featuring Adam as a stalker who becomes obsessed with a woman (played by his wife Behati Prinsloo) after she comes to his butcher shop.

There’s also lots of blood in the music video, and he stalks her “just like animals”. Get it? Ugh.

Anyways, Adam wore a white T-shirt and black leather pants, demonstrating why people might give him a douchebag label.

Watch Maroon 5’s performance on The Voice in the video above!

Last night Team Adam and Team Blake performed; don’t miss tonight’s episode to watch Team Gwen and Team Pharrell, and tune in Wednesday for the results! The Voice airs Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
