Robin Wright and Ben Foster have called it quits before even making it down the aisle.

The House of Cards star and Lone Survivor actor have parted ways and broken off their 10-month engagement, according to Us Weekly.

“She got swept up in the engagement last Christmas, but then their schedules got crazy and she realized it wasn’t the right decision,” an insider tells the magazine, adding that Wright was busy all summer filming her Netflix drama in Baltimore while Foster was spending much of his time in London for a production of A Streetcar Named Desire.

“The gap just ended up being too much,” a source said of the age difference between Wright, 48, and Foster, 34. “Ben was kind of immature. She couldn’t deal with him anymore.”

The former couple got engaged late last year after meeting on the set of 2011’s Rampart.

This would have been the third marriage for Wright, who was previously married to Sean Penn and Dane Witherspoon.
