Listen to ‘Bed of Lies,” a New Nicki Minaj Song Featuring Skylar Grey

'Only' Problems
Minaj was criticized for a Nazi-themed lyric video.
Nicki Minaj may not be a Nazi, but she is a rapper who has a new album, The Pinkprint, coming out in a month. That means, of course, lots of new music.

We’ve already heard “Pills N Potions,” “Anaconda,” and “Only” (Featuring Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown),” and now it’s time for the studio version of “Bed of Lies” (Featuring Skylar Grey).

Minaj premiered “Bed of Lies” at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards last week. There are no surprises in the recently-released studio version of the track. Here, she exchanges the theatricality and over-the-topness of “Anaconda” for a love affair with melodrama previously demonstrated on tracks like “Marilyn Monroe.” In short, it’s not a banger (but not every song has to be.)

The new single comes with some new cover art as well:

The Pinkprint is out December 15. Are you excited for Minaj’s new album?
