Watch Bill Cosby Tell a Reporter Not to Air Interview Footage After Refusing to Address Sexual Assault Allegations

Raven Responds
Here's Raaven Symone's take on the Bill Cosby sexual assault allegations.
In the wake of even more sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby, The Associated Press released on Wednesday night unaired footage from a recent interview with the comedian and his wife Camille.

The Nov. 6. sit down, which originally centered around an art exhibit in Washington, D.C., included an uncomfortable exchange between the reporter and the 77-year-old. When asked about the allegations, Cosby had the following response:

“No, no we don’t answer that . . . there’s no response. There is no comment about that. And I’ll tell you why. I think you were told . . . I don’t want to compromise your integrity. But we don’t, I don’ talk about it.”

Cosby, who still had a lapel microphone on well after the interview, then asked the following:

“Now can I get something from you? That none of that will be shown?”

“I know I didn’t say anything, but I’m asking your integrity that since I didn’t want to say anything but I did answer you in terms of I don’t want to say anything, of what value will it have?”

“And I would appreciate it if it was scuttled.”

According to the AP, the news organization “made no agreement to avoid questions about the allegations or to withhold publishing any of his comments at any time.”
