He was almost too hot to cast!
Admit it: After watching The Hunger Games movies, we all have a special place in our hearts for a real-life romance between Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth.

They’re perfect: both with adorable personalities, extremely good looking and even more successful.  Not to mention, both have grown with each other in becoming two of Hollywood’s biggest names and helped each other get through really tough breakups.

While they’ve stayed mum on any chance of a relationship–despite recent rumors that they’re dating–J. Law admits he’s been one of the most wonderful people she’s ever met.

“I would never expect to ever have a man this good-looking ever be my best friend,” she explains to Nylon magazine.  “I just would never assume those things could happen, but he is.  He’s the most wonderful, lovable, family-oriented, sweet, hilarious, amazing guy.”

And as if your heart could handle any more, Lawrence continues to explain that not only has he become her friend, he’s also become a mentor.

“He actually taught me how to be fair and to stand up for myself. It’s my biggest weakness: negotiating. I’m a wimp about standing up for myself and Liam is always fair. He’s always on time, he’s always doing his job, and he’s good about making sure that things stay fair. He’s teaching me to toughen up a little bit. That was important, I need that.”

Now that production on The Hunger Games has come to and end, Lawrence realized she won’t be seeing Hemsworth or her other good pal Josh Hutcherson as much, which was a big eye-opener for her.

“There was a part of wanting to wrap so we could give our bodies a break but realizing that it was over that we weren’t coming back–It was complicated, a mix of feelings. It was relief on one end because we were exhausted, but just so sad,” she explains.

As for Jennifer’s relationship with Hemsworth and Hutcherson, they’ll always have a special spot in her heart.

“We’re still best friends with each other, and we talk to each other all the time—way too much—but it’s different.  If all I had was this friendship with Josh and Liam—if that’s all I ever got from this—I would consider it a blessing. Our lives changed together and we had each other.”
