DJ Earworm Recaps 2014 With Another United State of Pop

Yep, it’s that time of the year. The time where your holiday shopping list is starting to creep up on you and DJ Earworm reminds you what a year it’s been for pop music.

This year’s United State of Pop is titled “Do What You Wanna Do,” a line from Maroon 5’s very catchy “Animals.”

If you were expecting most of the mash up to be Adam Levine and company, look away: it’s all Iggy Azalea. In all her collaboration glory.

There’s Iggy with Charli XCX. There’s Iggy with Rita Ora. There’s Iggy with Ariana Grande and Big Sean. Basically, Iggy all day every day.

OK fine other artists are in the roundup (it’s the top 25 hits in the U.S. after all). Also making the list: Christina Aguilera (who was featured on A Great Big World’s “Say Something”), John Legend’s “All of Me,” Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” and of course Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go.”

Have a go at it, above.
