Couple Suing After Kardashian Family Filmed in Their House Without Permission
The couple, Jianxiang Huang and Li Weihong, had been in China for a year, but returned home in August and found things out of place. Then, a friend told them that their house had been on an episode of the E! reality show, and now the couple is suing! Get all of the details below!
After Khloe Kardashian went through her split with husband Lamar Odom, she wanted to move out of the house they shared together. So, she and her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, went to look at possible places for her to stay.
The search for a house went down on the third episode of the ninth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians called, “And All That Jazzzzzzz.” The episode aired on Jan. 26, 2014.
One of the places they looked at was a house right next to Kourtney’s, which is the home of the couple that is now suing. When Khloe and Kourtney went to look at the house, Kourtney said, “nice feng shui.” But, then Khloe replies, “I don’t get good feng shui here.” In the end, Khloe doesn’t end up staying at the house.
After learning about the episode, it sounds like the couple is both angry and embarrassed, and they filed a lawsuit in November. The Kardashians themselves aren’t named in the lawsuit, but the couple is suing the property manager.
According to LA Weekly, “The couple is suing property manager Angela Wong and her employer, Ewing & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty, for numerous damages including breach of contract and misrepresentation. And for letting their home get dissed by the Kardashian girls to millions of TV viewers for having bad feng shui.”
