Royals, Squared: Kate Middleton and Prince William Meet Beyoncé and Jay Z at Brooklyn Nets Game

Kate's Maternity Style!
Take a look back at Kate Middleton's maternity style.
So. Much. Royalty.

Brooklyn was the place to be on Monday night as Kate Middleton and Prince William continued their east coast tour with a basketball game.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (who wore a Tory Burch coat, black jeans and matching pumps) were on hand to celebrate the partnership between his charity, United for Wildlife, and the NBA to help fight illegal wildlife trafficking.

And then they met Beyoncé.

During a quick whistle break between the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers, Queen Bey and Jay Z walked across the court for a quick chat with the royal couple.

“Jay Z wished Will and Kate ‘Merry Christmas’ when he was talking to them,” an eyewitness told PEOPLE of the meeting.

The Duke and Duchess were featured also featured on the jumbotron:

Speaking of royalty, King James — as in LeBron James — also met Will and Kate at the game. In some photos, LeBron can be seen getting a little too close to Kate, causing many to panic because of royalty protocol. But NBC News did everyone’s job and spoke to a royal communications officer, who clarified that the basketball star did nothing wrong.

Anyway, the trio’s post-game meet included the gifting of cupcakes from LeBron’s hometown and a teeny tiny Cavaliers jersey for baby Prince George, who is back home in Britain.

Can you imagine baby George in a basketball jersey, shooting hoops with his papa (or uncle Harry) at Kensington Palace?

Earlier in the evening, the Duke and Duchess attended an event hosted by Hillary Clinton, daughter Chelsea and her husband Marc Mezvinsky.

Hey Hillary, I would’ve looked like that, too.

Will and Kate are expected to visit the National September 11 Memorial Museum in lower Manhattan this morning. The rest of their day will include a trip to The Door/CityKids foundation, a reception at NeueHouse celebrating British talent in New York City, a trip (just the Duke) up to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building for a Shutterstock reception and a dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art celebrating St. Andrews 600th Anniversary.
