Kate Middleton and Prince William Brave Rainy Weather to Visit September 11 Memorial

The Cambridges and the Carters: royalty at its finest.
Fresh from their night out in Brooklyn, Kate Middleton and Prince William woke up to a cold and wet Tuesday morning to kick off yet another packed tour day.

The Duchess, who covered up her baby bump in a fuchsia Mulberry coat, joined her husband in lower Manhattan for a visit to the National September 11 Museum & Memorial.

The royal couple, who borrowed a few umbrellas from their hotel, laid a bouquet of white roses at one of the reflecting pools, along with a handwritten note.

Kate and Will, both 32, then went inside the museum for a private tour.

The pair’s final day in New York City will include a visit to The Door and City Kids Foundation, where they’ll be treated to arts performances, a reception celebrating British talent in New York City, a solo trip by the Duke to the Empire State Building and an evening gala celebrating the 600th anniversary of St. Andrews at the Met.
