Brad Pitt Doesn’t Want His Daughters to Get Tattoos

Angelina Jolie is covered from head-to-toe in tattoos, and they’ve become a key piece of her identity… But her hubby Brad Pitt isn’t sure he’ll allow their daughters to follow in mommy’s footsteps.

The 39-year-old Unbroken director explained how her children have become interested in the idea of getting inked up, but Pitt gets a little protective when it comes to his daughters going under the needle.

“They’re already asking me about tattoos,” Jolie told Radio Times, revealing how Maddox alrady asked for one and Zahara has also begun pondering the idea.

“How do I say ‘No?’  It’s especially hard for dads and girls,” she explained.  “For some reason men get a little more sensitive when the daughter gets a tattoo.”

According to Jolie, their daughters have daddy wrapped around their fingers.  “Brad thinks the girls can do no wrong,” she quips before adding, “He’s mush in their hands!”

Other than getting tattoos, the kids might also follow in their parents’ footsteps when it comes to their careers.  Angelina says they’ve chatted about their future, and though they aren’t ecstatic about them joining Hollywood, they won’t stop them either.

“We’ve always said, if they want to act, we won’t let them only act, because it’s not enough,” she explained. “They’ll have to find a real job at the same time.”

Jolie ultimately hopes their traveling and volunteer work around the world will open the kids’ eyes to other opportunities.  “But I’m hoping that when they see all the other things in the world, they’ll be inspired to be writers, politicians, activists,” she admits.  “They’re very individual people,” she noted. “So, I imagine they’re not going to follow their mom and dad.”
