All Hail Benjamin, The Orphaned Pygmy Goat Everyone’s Been Talking About

Next Stop: Goats
True story: a herd of goats stroll into a train station in Spain.
Benjamin the pygmy goat is your new spirit animal.

In the span of a week, the four-legged button has become an Internet sensation, thanks to a BBC news piece (and of course, his cute little face).

You see, Benjamin’s mother rejected him because she couldn’t care for both him and his twin. So his human Tom Horsfield took over, a camera crew paid a visit and the rest, as they say, is goat-story. (I tried).

The best part about the BBC video is of course when a clip of Benjamin running is paired with “The Lonely Goatherd” from The Sound of Music.

The worst part about the video is when his human announces plans for Benjamin to become 100 percent goat when he rejoins his herd in the countryside in about two months.

Bonus: Benjamin did a follow-up interview with the BBC and as the title indicates, he held nothing back on live television.

Never change, dear Benji, never change.
