Blake Lively’s First Post-Baby Interview: ‘This is the Happiest Time of My Life’
Now, as People’s cover girl, she’s speaking out about her first week of motherhood, and family.
On being a new mother, Blake told People exclusively, “I don’t feel like it’s a massive change” and that she has “always felt like a mama”.
Reportedly, Blake and Ryan welcomed their baby girl in December and named her Violet.
Blake also told People, “I do want to just enjoy this moment. But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year. I’m looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter.”
The 27-year-old is also the founder of Preserve, a lifestlye site and blog that was launched in July 2014, and covering a range of topics like fashion, food, beauty and philanthropy. Forbes also just named her one of their “30 under 30″ (a list of the most influential Millennial’s).
The new mom and actress is next starring in the period drama The Age of Adaline, which comes out April 24, 2015. But for now, Blake is already back at work, showing some of her latest painting creations on her Instagram:
Thank you guys for kind notes about my painting! A few of you asked about buying it. It's a sentimental piece so it's up in my home, but because that piece means so much to me, I incorporated parts of it into my PreserveHome collaboration with @ashleylongshoreart Now we'll all have the same art in our homes #tooprettyforapillowfight…or.is.it?!
