Watch Chris Pratt Gush Over His ‘Polite’ Son on ‘Ellen’

Pratt, Pratt, Pratt
Bet you didn't know these 10 things about Chris Pratt.
We’d like to interrupt your regular programming to bring you a sweet clip of Chris Pratt talking about his 2-year-old son Jack.

Turns out, little Jack has managed to avoid the “terrible two” phase.

“You know it is really, very easy to be patient with this kid,” Pratt says on an episode of Ellen airing Wednesday. “He is really a remarkable kid.”

The Parks and Recreation star and wife Anna Faris welcomed Jack into the world in Aug. 2012.

“He’s so vocal that it’s not that hard for him [to express],” Pratt says of his firstborn. “It’s super frustrating because you’re like, ‘Jack I think it’s time for you to go to bed’ and he’s like ‘I thought about it and no thanks, Dad. Not right now.’ And I’m like, he’s so polite what am I supposed to do? He’ll be like, ‘Hmm I don’t think so, I’d rather not right now.’ I’m like, ‘I did teach you to be polite… OK, you can stay up.’”

Cute, right?

Be sure to watch the whole clip, below, to catch the part about Pratt building a nest (yup) at home for his son.

Parks and Recreation will return for a seventh and final season on Jan. 13.
