There’s no better way to get over your mistakes than by laughing at them–such is the case for Kaley Cuoco following her misconstrued anti-feminism remarks in Redbook magazine that the world hasn’t stop talking about for the last week.
The 29-year-old actress took an opportunity at the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night to address the controversial topic, using her The Wedding Ringer co-stars Kevin Hart and Josh Gad to help her with some comedic relief.
After taking the stage to present an award, Cuoco pleaded with Hart and Gad to stop messing around. “Can we just show the nominees, please, for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress?” she begged.
Of course Gad couldn’t help but use the moment to poke fun at the actress and her latest controversy. “Ooh now Kaley, are you sure you want to do that category given your anti-feminism stance?” Gad asked.
“Yeah, I have to, it’s part of my apology tour,” she joked.
Cuoco has already apologized for the anti-feminism comments, saying her words were taken out of context, and she did not intend to offend anyone.
