Sean Penn Raises $6 Million for Haiti With Help From Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon & More

Engaged...
And adopting a baby together!? All the details on Charlize Theron and Sean Penn's relationship!
Amazing news! Sean Penn continued his support for Haiti with his HELP HAITI HOME Gala & Fundraiser last night (Jan. 10), benefitting the J/P Haitian Relief Organization, and raising approximately $6 million for the cause!

With an array of celebrity guests (like rumored fiancée Charlize TheronReese Witherspoon, Salma Hayek, Ben Stiller, Josh Hutcherson, Bill Clinton and more), and featuring performances by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, all eyes were on Sean Penn’s Hollywood-filled charity gala, shedding light on an important relief organization.

Reese Witherspoon posed for pictures with fellow actresses Charlize Theron and Salma Hayek, while possibly the possibly engaged couple Charlize and Sean looked very much in love as they hosted the gala.

Some of the auction items included: a trip to Los Angeles to party with the stars during Academy Award weekend; a journey to Haiti with President Bill Clinton and Sean Penn (originally for only one winner and a guest, but Clinton and Penn agreed onsite to offer 3 lucky winners and their guests this opportunity; each trip went for $500,000, totaling $1.5 million); a once in a lifetime private performance by Chris Martin in the winning bidder’s home; and more!

Penn paid tribute to Bill Clinton, who was honored with J/P HRO’s Louverture Medal of Commitment.

Chris Martin performed acoustic renditions of “Magic” and “Viva la Vida” midway through the event, while the Red Hot Chili Peppers ended the night with a 30-minute concert for the star-studded room.
