Gwyneth Paltrow Talks Beyonce, Blue Ivy Carter and Drugs on ‘Watch What Happens Live’
Gwyneth Paltrow’s opened up about her conscious uncoupling from Chris Martin. And for fans who were hoping Paltrow and Chris Martin might get back together, Paltrow set the record straight on Watch What Happens Live! on Jan. 15.
Did Paltrow think the term “conscious uncoupling” would become so huge? “No,” Paltrow laughed. “I should have said I didn’t invent this. … We’re just trying to separate with minimal acrimony and to really stay a family, even though our relationship isn’t romantic anymore.”
Andy Cohen said it seems like Chris Martin and Paltrow’s separation has remained very amicable. “We have days that are hard,” Paltrow admitted. “But we are really close. I love him a lot. And we have two beautiful kids.”
Beyoncé and Jay Z, which she also discussed with Howard Stern the day before (Jan. 14, 2015). “The greatest perk of being their friend,” mused Paltrow, “is that I have a relationship with people who have similar [backgrounds]. Obviously, I’m not as famous or successful as they are, but I do have a life in the public eye, and I have people to walk through life with in that capacity.”
As for Blue Ivy, Paltrow stated, “It also means I get to be around their daughter, who I love so freaking much!”
When the topics of drugs came up, Gwyneth revealed the hardest drug that she’s ever taken has been Ecstasy.
