In light of Martin Luther King Jr., Ye’s wife Kim Kardashian West took to Twitter to share a rare and touching video she found of “her baby” reciting a poem about the great activist.

The 1990 video shows Kanye at John H. Vanderpoel Elementary School in Chicago during an assembly honoring MLK Jr.   The rapper took to the podium to recite the prestigious poem “His Name Means Love,” delivering it with the same passion and power he is known for today.

“A man who fought for freedom/ A man who fought for equality,” Kanye recites, “What this man was fighting for/ So Blacks, Hispanics, Jews and Asians could put their foot in the door/ Yes, we know that this man is great/ That’s why today we celebrate/ Everyone lifts their voice and sing / For a man who wanted freedom to ring / Martin Luther King is who I’m speaking of / A man whose name means love.”

Kim couldn’t help but gush about her hubby after stumbling upon the video.  She tweeted, “I wish I posted this yesterday! How cute is my baby!!!!!!! #MLK.”

Not only is it cute, but the video also goes to show the world the talent ‘Ye had even as a kid.
