Lindsay Lohan Fails Community Service, Could be Headed Back to Jail

Chikungunya Virus
Lindsay Lohan contracted a rare virus and was hospitalized
Uh-oh. Lindsay Lohan is in hot water with the law yet again, this time for failing to complete all of her required community service hours for the second time.

The consequences? Lindsay may not be a free woman for much longer.

Lindsay plans on citing her incurable mosquito virus that landed her in the hospital as the reason for her incompletion when she appears in court Wednesday (Jan. 28, 2015).

TMZ reports that Lilo was required to do 240 hours of community service in connection with her 2012 reckless driving case, in which she ran into an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway.

On Nov. 6, 2014, Lindsay was required to show proof of her completion; however, Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Holley told the judge that she’d only completed nearly half the hours.

Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 is the extended deadline the judge granted her, but Lilo is still nowhere near her required 240 hours!

Her excuse is, for one, is that the center she volunteers at in London was closed for two weeks during the holidays. Her other excuse is that the mosquito virus she contracted over the holidays required her to be hospitalized; only problem is, Lilo got the virus while on vacation in Bora Bora.

TMZ notes Lilo’s laundry list of excuses and other screw-ups over past couple of years. Could the troubled actress’s use of yet another excuse land her in jail this time? Hopefully, Lindsay’s “hot mess” days are still long over.
