Eddie Redmayne: he’s just like us!

Not only is he a huge Real Housewives and The Hills fan (specifically, a vintage reality TV aficionado), Eddie is totally a Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts fangirl.

The Theory of Everything star and Oscar nominee (oh, and Golden Globe and SAG award winner for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking) revealed his most starstruck moments to Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday (Jan. 27, 2015), joking about his and his wife’s “inappropriate” behavior towards Jennifer and confessing what he was thinking about when Julia handed him his SAG award.

The hottest actor of the moment, Eddie called awards season “endlessly exciting” and “completely surreal”.

Now an A-list actor himself, Eddie took home Best Actor at the SAG awards on Sunday (Jan. 25, 2015), and Julia Roberts was on stage to present it to him; with a laugh, he called the moment “breathtaking” and admitted,

“My dad’s favorite film is Pretty Woman, so I think as a kid, at a pretty inappropriate age, I was watching Pretty Woman. So, this moment happens when your name gets read out and it’s such an extraordinary euphoria and it’s kind of white noise and it all kind of goes into a blur, and then suddenly, there I was sort of hugging Julia Roberts, and then I was meant to be articulate. All I could think of was, ‘I want to tell my dad!'”

Another starstruck moment happened between him, his wife Hannah Bagshawe and Jennifer Aniston.

He explained their awkward moment, saying, “My wife and I love FriendsWe saw Jennifer Aniston at a party, and we were just incredibly inappropriate. We so wanted to meet her that we just sort of literally stalked about four meters behind her for an entire evening.

“And eventually, she was sort of like, ‘OK?’ and we got to meet her.”

First impressions aside, we think it could have gone way worse!
