Emma vs. Jimmy
Emma Stone and Jimmy Fallon battles in lip sync war. Who wins? Who suffers?
Isabel Lucas looked stunning at the Los Angeles screening of her new movie, The Loft, yesterday, (Jan. 27, 2015).

The actress has one of the lead female roles in the movie, and we talked to Lucas about this new project. Lucas spilled The Loft secrets and she also talked to us about one of her favorite actresses, Emma Stone. Check out the interview to get all of the details!

The Loft is a remake of the 2008 film, Loft. In this movie, five married men decide to get a loft in order to fool around behind their wives’ backs. Lucas plays Sarah Deakins in the movie, one of the women who romances Karl Urban’s character, Vincent Stevens.

This movie has a lot of twists and turns, and what starts out as a thrilling idea to the men turns tragic when a mystery woman ends up dead in the loft. The men then have to try and figure out who is responsible for this woman’s death.

At the premiere, Lucas looked gorgeous in an amazing Jenny Packham dress. How did she decide on this dress? She told us, “This particular process has been so lovely because one of my close friends has been getting into styling and has been for a couple of years now. And we decided to collaborate this time, and it was really enjoyable and so relaxed. She just came over and she brought like 10 dresses, and she really knows the kinds of styles that I’m drawn to. So, it was really kind of seamless and easy and also just like dress up with your friend.”

In addition to Lucas and Urban, the cast also includes James Marsden, Eric Stonestreet, Wentworth Miller, Matthias Schoenaerts and Rhona Mitra. The movie was actually filmed in 2011, so it was a reunion for the cast and crew at the screening yesterday.

Lucas was really excited to be at the screening and to see the cast and the movie’s director, Eric Van Looy. She told us, “It’s always delightful to be able to reconnect with all of your old friends and cast that you worked with. And Eric, who is such a lovely director, genuinely a very well-intended person. So yeah, it’s fun!”

Lucas also revealed that they got to travel to film this movie. She told us, “We were shooting in New Orleans, and then a little in Brussels and around Belgium. I enjoyed that.”

Since it’s awards season, and the Oscars are just around the corner, does Lucas have any favorites? Lucas told us she really liked Boyhood. One film that she really wants to see is Birdman, which stars Michael Keaton and Stone. When we admitted our love for Stone, Lucas agreed saying, “Yeah, me too! She’s so authentic, she’s so honest, I really appreciate that about her.” We suggested to Lucas that she and Stone should be in a movie together and she told us, “That would be fun!”
