She’s back, bitches!

Just a week after she released her new song “FourFive Seconds,” Rihanna landed the cover of i-D magazine the “Music Issue,” which can only mean one thing: we’ll be seeing more music SOON!

The magazine pinned Rih as their cover girl in honor of her upcoming 8th studio album R8, which is due any day now and, though kept on the down-low, reportedly features collaborations with Mike Will Made-It, Ne-Yo, DJ Mustard and more.

Fashion Director Alastair McKimm, who teamed up with the bad gal and photographer Paolo Roversi for the shoot in Paris, says of the pop star, “She really is one of the most creative, talented and inspiring women I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.  The energy and enthusiasm she brings is intense. She’s the ultimate icon of our time.”

The shoot features Rihanna channeling a few 90s grunge styles.  The cover shows her with dark, long braids, dark lipstick and big gold hoop earrings, while the other photos feature the songstress wearing her septum nose ring, her go-to bantu knots and a pair of oversized jeans with no top (in true, bad gal style).

Aside from the music we’ve been waiting for (for what seems like decades), Rihanna’s also been in the headlines lately for her rumored new romance with Leonardo DiCaprio.  Though they’re allegedly keeping things very casual, the songstress invited DiCaprio to meet her family–something she only does if she really likes the dude.

Hmm! Now we’ve got lots to look forward to out of our favorite bad gal: new music, a new cover shoot and a budding romance… Can’t wait!
