'Lost River' Teaser
Here's your first look at Ryan Gosling's attempt at directing.
After receiving brutal reviews at Cannes Film Festival, the trailer for Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut is ready for public consumption.

Directed and written by the actor, Lost River features familiar faces who’ve previously worked with the Canadian star, including girlfriend and The Place Beyond the Pines co-star Eva Mendes and Drive’s Christina Hendricks.

Shot in Detroit in 2013, the movie centers around a single mother (Hendricks) who takes on a seedy job with a mysterious woman named Cat (Mendes) after facing economic difficulties. Meanwhile, the struggling mom’s older son (Iain De Caestecker) must protect his younger brother from the town’s aptly named bully, Bully (Matt Smith).

Also starring Saoirse Ronan, the film will be released on-demand in April 2015.
