TMZ is reporting that Beyoncé, Jay Z and their 3-year-old daughter Blue Ivy have already relocated from New York City to sunny California, where they’ve been looking for new real estate.

The Carters, who’ve been calling a Beverly Hills hotel home since their relocation, want a “change in lifestyle,” according to a source, and have been looking at fancy properties in the westside of Los Angeles. (That’s Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Holmby Hills).

Those closely glued to celebrity real estate news will recall that back in December, Bey and Jay lost a $70 million bid on a Beverly Hills mansion (which included a car showroom, eight bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and a movie theater) to Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson, who reportedly paid the same price for the digs.

With the move, little Blue has already admitted into an elite private school, which according to TMZ will cost the Carter clan some $15,080 a year in tuition.

No word on whether or not the Bey and Jay will trade in their Brooklyn Nets apparel for the gold and purple variety (or red, white and blue).
