Sam Taylor-Johnson, author E.L. James, and stars Dornan and Johnson were at a fan screening Friday morning at New York’s Zeigfeld theater when they made the announcement. No word from Universal Pictures yet, however.
The first film has yet to be released (it’s cominggggg, this weekend, Feb. 13th), but based off of the many teasers from the movie the whole affair looks totally awkward and the lead stars appear to be lacking of sexual chemistry.

In other news, the studio has released a new TV spot for the film, which shows Christian wanting to bite Anastasia’s lip:
Get your Valentine’s Day plans settled today because Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters this weekend, Feb. 13, 2015.
