Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Family Releases Official Statement, Slams ‘False Reporting’ By Various Outlets

Bobbi Kristina Update
The latest on Bobbi Kristina Brown, her family and the public vigil.
With all the attention surrounding the condition of Bobbi Kristina Brown and the many, many reports that have surfaced since her Jan. 31 hospitalization, the Brown family has released an official statement.

According to the family, who spoke through Christopher Brown, a legal counsel for Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown:

“We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended.

“However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be ‘first’ has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence. [via Billboard]

Added Bobby Brown, “We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers.”

The statement comes hours after it was reported that the Brown family had plans to take Bobbi Kristina, 21, off life support on Wednesday, which is also the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston’s death.

The family lawyer has since confirmed to TMZ that there is “no truth to the story.”

On Monday, members of the Brown family joined the public in a candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina held just outside of Atlanta.
