Neil Patrick Harris is a man of many talents. Although he’s best known for his starring role in How I Met Your Mother, he can be found on the big screen, Broadway, and even as a voiceover in video games.

Harris seems to be quite the crowd-pleaser, as he’s been a popular choice for previous award show hosting gigs. In the last seven years, he’s hosted the Emmys twice (2009, 2013) and the Tonys four times (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013), along with the World Magic Awards in 2008, the TV Land Awards in 2009, and the Spike Video Game Awards in 2010. Harris is so good that he’s even won awards for his hosting performances. With all of this show-stopping experience, there is no doubt in our minds that he will have any trouble taking over the 2015 Oscars.

In honor of our lovable NPH, we are celebrating some of the entertainer’s greatest award show moments.

#5) Spike Video Game Awards: Angry Birds (2010)

While hosting Spike’s Video Game Awards in 2010, Harris decides that he wants to play Angry Birds — with live farm animals.

#4) 67th Tony Awards: Neil French Kisses a Dog (2013)

Harris takes “man’s best friend” to a whole new level.

#3) 65th Tony Awards: Neil duels Hugh Jackman (2011)

Harris and Hugh Jackman have both hosted the Tonys. The question is: who was better?

#2) 66th Tony Awards: Broadway Medley (2012)

With the desire to recognize multiple Broadway works, Harris pays tribute by captivating his audience with this charming medley.

#1) 67th Tony Awards: “Bigger” (2013)

Arguably the most incredible show-opener in the history of award shows.

The 87th Oscar Awards are this Sunday, February 22nd at 5:30 pm PST/8:30 pm EST.
