WATCH: Here’s What Chris Brown Thinks About Rihanna Dating Leonardo DiCaprio
Of course, no one ask this of Brown, but it is pretty fulfilling hearing the singer admit that Rih is making an upgrade from himself.
In an interview with Hot 97 Radio over the weekend, the “Loyal” crooner admitted he did not call his ex girlfriend on her birthday (which she celebrated Friday) because his girl Karrueche Tran would have “slapped” him. However, he does admit that he’s finally at a point of being cool with her and whatever she’s doing in her life and career.
“I respect her enough to respect her privacy and her space, because I can’t believe everything I hear in the news. But what I see, I’ll be like, ‘OK cool, there might be something else going on,'” the singer revealed right as someone brought up the rumors of her and DiCaprio.
“I’m gonna have to give her [a high-five], because you know what? Ain’t nowhere else you coulda went though. High five,” he responded. “You can only go up, and that’s the upper, upper echelon… I’m not even a hater. I’ll give you a slap on the back, booty, everything, ‘Hey, do your thing. Good game.’
“In that situation, I just tip my hat,” he added. “I’m not a hater. I’m not envious, I don’t feel jealous. Do your thing. I can’t have it all, brotha.”
Meanwhile, Brown has been offering a lot of opinions on several famous relationships, including Tyga and Kylie Jenner. But just yesterday, he tweeted that he’ll no longer be doing interviews on any topics other than his music.
I’ve given the world enough opinions. I’m not doing no more interviews unless it’s about my art or music. It’s nothing else anyone needs.
