Is Jamie Dornan Really Quitting the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Movies?

Is Jamie Dornan really quitting Fifty Shades of Grey?

Rumors are flying that 32-year-old Dornan has quit the movies and won’t be in the sequel, as a result of his wife, Amelia Warner, being uncomfortable with the sex scenes. So, is it true? We have the answer below.

When Fifty Shades premiered in theaters, it dominated the box office. The movie is based on a series of three books; Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. So, after the success of the first movie, it seems likely that the studio would want to do two more movies based on the books.

In the movie, Dornan plays the Christian Grey to Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele. Dornan is one of the lead characters, so it would probably be really hard to replace him if he does quit the movies.

The Australian magazine NW recently reported that Dornan was backing out of the Fifty Shades sequel because his wife is uncomfortable with the material. But, we’re hearing that’s just not true.

Dornan’s rep told Gossip Cop that the rumors are “pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet.” It turns out, a Fifty Shades sequel hasn’t even been 100% confirmed yet. So, any rumors about Dornan quitting are false.

If Dornan does end up quitting, who should replace him? Maybe we could get Charlie Hunnam to reconsider the role?
