Bobbi Kristina Brown Taken Out of Medically Induced Coma
According to People, doctors at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital plan to wean the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown off the medication that keeps her in the coma in hopes to get a sense of what Bobbi Kristina can do on her own.
“We’re all hoping and praying that this will give us some answers,” says a source close to the family, who adds that Brown’s condition remains “severe.”
Bobbi Kristina will reportedly remain on life support, which includes a ventilator and feeding tube.
Previously, the 21-year-old underwent a tracheotomy to prevent infections that could develop inside her lungs.
“We’re hoping for a significant change soon,” says the insider, “but we know that it may not change anything.”
