Remember when Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were engaged, and everything was too good to be true?

The glamorous early-2000’s super-couple (the adorable “Bennifer”), who met on the set of Gigli in 2002 and broke up just before their fairy-tale wedding in 2004, reunited this weekend at the Oscars, according to the Associated Press.

Allegedly, Affleck and Lopez had a playful moment during an off-camera moment, but it unfortunately looked nothing like this notorious scene of Affleck and J. Lo in her music video for “Jenny from the Block”:

Affleck reportedly went up to the “Booty” singer during the commercial break after Citizenfour was named Best Documentary, and “whispered something” in her ear.

Lopez then adorably, “playfully” swatted him on the arm. Afterwards, Affleck continued on down the aisle and whispered something in Bradley Cooper’s ear.

He didn’t playfully slap Affleck’s arm though, the AP notes.

It’s nice to see that one of Hollywood’s former supercouples are super friendly exes.

Affleck had proposed to Lopez with a beautiful 6.1 carat pink-diamond ring in late 2002. Their wedding was originally supposed to take place in September 2003, but was postponed. Ben called off their very public wedding, and it was official when the couple parted ways in January 2004.

Months later, Affleck began dating Jennifer Garner. They wed in June 2005, when the actress was already 4 months pregnant with their first child.

Lopez describes being at rock bottom for three days after their split in her memoir True Love, until future husband/ex-husband Marc Anthony came back into her life. Lopez and Anthony married in 2004, and divorced in 2011.
