Kanye West Officially Apologizes to Beck for Crashing His Grammy Acceptance Speech
Just 18 days after he stormed on stage to steal the musician’s thunder for winning Album of the Year over Beyoncé at this year’s Grammy Awards, West (finally) asked for forgiveness. Following a very emotional interview with BBC Radio 1, in which Yeezy cried on camera and spoked about his discontent for the Grammys, the “Bound 2″ hitmaker took to Twitter to issue out an apology to Beck.
Previously, Beck told the press that he wasn’t offended by West’s antics, saying, “You can’t please everybody, man. I still love [West] and think he’s genius. I aspire to do what he does.”
Aside from Beck, West also apologized to Bruno Mars after he had slammed the “Uptown Funk” singer during Bonnaroo Music Festival appearance last summer. In 2013, West also blasted Mars for winning “all the motherfucking awards and shit” after the MTV Video Music Awards.
West tweeted on Thursday:
Could this be a new era of Yeezy? Hath hell frozen over? Only time will tell.
