Kelly Osbourne Quits ‘Fashion Police’

'Fashion Police' Revamped
Meet the new co-hosts of 'Fashion Police' following Joan Rivers' death.

Kelly Osbourne is parting ways with Fashion Police.

The lavender-haired offspring of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave the post she’s held on the E! series since 2011. The network confirms Kelly’s exit in a statement on Friday, reading:

Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.

The 30-year-old threatened to quit the show this week after fellow co-host Giuliana Rancic made a controversial comment about Zendaya’s dreadlocks on the air. Rancic since apologized for the remarks.

According to TMZ, who first reported on the departure, Kelly had been at odds with producers since Joan Rivers’ death. According to the website, Kelly was unhappy with the way the show was being handled after the comedienne’s passing.

Maybe Kelly can finally change her hair color now that she’s no longer contractually obligated to keep it purple.
