It was very, ahem, regal, smart, witty, empowering and just literally perfect.

Emma Watson’s Belle has found her Beast and her Gaston for Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast, and these two hunky Brits are sure to be crowd-pleasers.

Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens has been cast opposite Watson as the Beast, while B Luke Evans will play Gaston.

Early this morning, Watson happily tweeted a picture of Stevens, writing “Could not be more happy that this man will be Beast!!! Welcome aboard

She followed it up with, “Bonjour Gaston! ❤️ Welcome! #BeautyAndTheBeast” and a picture of Evans,

Hinting at the role, Stevens posted to his Twitter earlier,

The live-action classic will be directed by Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I & Part II’s Bill Condon, and it’s speculated that this version will be a musical.

Watson hinted there would be singing in her Facebook post, writing on January 26,

We’re still waiting to hear who will be playing other fan-favorites like Chip, Le Fou, Lumière, Mrs. Potts, Cogsworth and Maurice!
