Is Britney Spears Really Performing at the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Britney Spears is reportedly going to perform at the 2016 Super Bowl in Santa Clara, Calif.

Rumors are flying that the 33-year-old singer will be the performer at the halftime show next year.

It’s been a very successful few years for Spears and her Britney Spears: Piece of Me show in Las Vegas. As a result, it sounds like she’s built up her confidence and is ready to take on the Super Bowl.

We should let you know, this story comes from the National Enquirer, so this news isn’t official. But, a source told the magazine, “She’s ready to do something massive. She’s definitely doing a part in the Super Bowl halftime show next year. The details haven’t totally been worked out yet, but it will be huge.”

The source even claims that Miley Cyrus will join Spears at the show. That idea wouldn’t be a stretch, Spears and Cyrus do share the same manager, Larry Rudolph.

This wouldn’t be Spears’ first time performing at the Super Bowl. Back in 2001, Spears performed alongside Aerosmith, Mary J. Blige, Nelly and ‘NSYNC. Check out the performance below!
