Fifty Shades' stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan reportedly seeking seven-figure deals for sequels

Being Twilight fan fiction, Fifty Shades of Grey is (obviously) sexual in nature, featuring a red room of pain full of fun toys like whips and rope.

So of course a big rumor went around that Jamie Dornan, the star of the film alongside Dakota Johnson, was dropping out of the sequels because his wife was uncomfortable with his and Johnson’s sex scenes.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, you probably know about a little bit about the special dynamic between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele; probably you have even seen the box-office hit. Thus, for one reason or another, the rumor spread like wildfire.

Now we know those rumors are false and that Dornan is not in fact planning on quitting the franchise. And thank goodness; we’re wiping our brow that the hunky, beautiful actor will be returning to co-star alongside Johnson and her witty personality.

Dornan recently spoke to The Daily Mailand basically “almost spat” when he was asked about the rumors that his wife wanted him to end his contract with the franchise.

Dornan said, “Total b*****ks! Of course she would have read the scripts well in advance, and she’s massively supportive of Fifty Shades.”

“The idea was that we honour the trilogy and do all three,” he added.

As for how he feels about him and Johnson getting it on (*wink*) on the big screen, Dornan remarked, “They wouldn’t have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem . . . whatever chemistry means. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn’t have cast us.”

Dornan pays respect to his lead role on The Fall on BBC2 as the reason why he landed the part of Christian Grey. “I’m just a father and a husband, really,” he said. “I wouldn’t have been in the conversation for Fifty Shades without The Fall.

“It’s the job that changed everything for me,” he added about his role playing a charismatic serial killer in Northern Ireland.

Dornan will begin filming season 3 of the show near the end of the year and into 2016.

“I love playing my character — and Gillian [Anderson] loves hers. She says it’s one of the best she’s ever played,” the actor added.
