Michelle Rodriguez is opening up in depth about what her life has been like after the tragic loss of her dear friend Paul Walker.

“I actually went on a bit of a binge,” she tells Entertainment Weekly. “I went crazy a little bit… I went pretty crazy. A lot of the stuff I did last year I would never do had I been in my right mind.”

Rodriguez, who appears alongside Walker in his final film, Furious 7, next month, tells the magazine she was “pushing myself to feel.”

Of course, being in Hollywood, Rodriguez’s activities did not go unnoticed. Recall her romances with Cara Delevingne and Zac Efron last winter and summer, respectively. Or Rodriguez’s yacht adventure with Justin Bieber.

“I felt like nothing I could do could make me feel alive, so I just kept pushing myself harder and harder. I was traveling and I was having sex. And I was just trying to ignore everything that I was feeling.”

These days, the 36-year-old actress goes by a different mantra.

“I just woke up [one morning] with a profound respect for living,” she tells EW. “I stood tall one day and I said, ‘You know what, Michelle? Stop f**king hiding. Go manifest.’ And all of a sudden, I picked myself up and started hustling.’”

And you can catch her hustling on the big screen on Apr. 3, when Furious 7 opens nationwide.
