Although Cara Delevingne has established herself as one of the biggest supermodels of all time, she never anticipated to fall into that career.

The 22-year-old opened up about her new roles in Paper Towns and Face of an Angel during her first ever televised interview on ITV’s Lorraine on Tuesday, admitting she always wanted to be an actress.

“Modeling I love but acting is my passion,” Delevingne revealed. “I think modeling kind of chose me, it’s never what I expected. I always wanted to be an actress and I think I use acting so much in modelling.”

She explained, “You ask anyone I do a shoot with, I’m always running around doing accents, dancing, singing… It’s never just a normal shoot!”

And that type of humor and craziness is something Delevingne always tries to bring to work, whether it’s modeling or acting.

“If you work in creative businesses, everything works better when people are having fun,” she admitted. “So I like to try and make everyone have a good time, even if it distracts people… If everyone goes home from work smiling, that’s what you want, isn’t it?”
