Like You, Kristen Stewart Doesn’t Think About ‘Twilight’ Much These Days

'Breaking Dawn' Record
An opening weekend flashback.

What’s Twilight?

No, Kristen Stewart didn’t just mutter those exact words, but the actress did reveal that the franchise that made her one of the biggest stars on the planet and one half of “Robsten” (and the envy of millions of Twihards) hardly crosses her mind these days.

“I only have to think about it when someone asks me,” Stewart, 24, says of Twilight in an Associated Press interview published Friday (Apr. 3, 2015).

Post-Twilight life for Stewart has been tween-free, for the most part. Consider her latest film, The Clouds of Sils Maria. Earlier this year, the actress made movie history by becoming the first American actress to win a Cesar (the French equivalent of the Oscar) for her role as Juliette Binoche’s on-screen assistant.

“I’m having more fun now than I ever have,” KStew tells the AP. “These movies go by… We made Camp X-Ray in 20 days. It’s just better when it’s faster.”

To her relief, Stewart’s most recent projects, including Still Alice with Julianne Moore, the sci-fi movie Equals, and the new Woody Allen film, have all arrived with minimal baggage.

“Because of the lack of expectation in any of these movies, there were no moments that people had read in a book that were the most important thing in their lives. I really let go.”

The Clouds of Sils Maria opens stateside Apr. 10.
