‘No Kardashian Parking’ Signs Surface in Hollywood

The “Banksy of L.A.” is at it again.

Los Angeles artist Plastic Jesus is making headlines this week thanks to his latest stunt involving the most famous family on the planet: The Kardashians.

A total of seven “No Kardashian Parking Anytime” signs popped up all over Hollywood, including the clan’s Dash store on Melrose Ave.

According to Plastic Jesus, who installed a cocaine-snorting Oscar statue in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard in February, the parking signs are his reaction to America’s fasciation with celebrities.

“The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture. We’ve allowed mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter.

“I guarantee that same number of paparazzi was far greater than any number of photographers chasing real news.”

Plastic Jesus’ previous works have included an Oscar statue with a needle in his arm, responding to Philip Seymour Hoffman’s death in 2014, and a graffiti painting of Lance Armstrong cycling with an IV bag.

An LAPD spokesperson tells THR that no complaints have been filed.

On Tuesday evening, Plastic Jesus gave his Twitter followers an update on the signs:
