Surprise! Kim Kardashian Reveals North West Is a Total ‘Girly Girl’
With a papa as a rapper and fashion designer, and a mama who walks amidst the fashion industry’s elite, it’s no wonder baby Nori has a penchant for fashion. It’s basically in her blood.
“She’s really particular about what she likes to wear, she’s such a girlie girl,” the 34-year-old Kardashian told Vogue. “Every day she wakes up and says ‘shoes.’ You have to bargain with her—before you change her diaper she needs a pair of shoes on.”
Nori is no stranger to custom wardrobes by Lanvin, Céline and Alexander Wang, and Kim commented “Wang made her the cutest little bomber with this little skirt and studs and socks.”
The high-low Kardashian Kids line launches on Nordstrom.com April 13th, with prices starting at $25 and topping out at $35.
Of their new Kids collection, Kim says “It’s just something that I think was really missing—an affordable line that was really cute and stylish.”
She was inspired by looks from both her closet and other fashionable kids out there, adding “Hours and hours of looking online [on Instagram and Tumblr]. There’s an account called @fashionkids about moms posting about their kids and outfits.”
As for her next fashion foray, Kim commented, “Well, North does love handbags. And anything where there’s a little bit of glitz.”
However, “She hasn’t been the biggest fan of keeping something on her head,” Kim said.
On Kimye’s second child, Kim told the magazine, “You know, we’re trying to expand the family. We’re doing everything we can. I would be so happy with whatever God gave me, but I mean, eventually, yes, I would love a boy.”
Despite Kim’s ongoing struggles to conceive baby number 2, it sounds like Nori’s future sibling will also be a fashionista or fashionisto.
