Blake Lively’s Daughter Has the ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ Gals for Godmothers

Before Blake Lively married Ryan Reynolds and gave birth to their daughter, James, she played a hot mess of Gossip Girl; but before that, she was part of the most epic teenage sisterhood that brought us together (for a short while) from middle school to high school: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

And the sisterhood is still going strong. Lively reportedly named her Sisterhood gal pals for life Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera as the godmothers of her new baby girl, who was born back in December.

Tamblyn revealed to Nick Lachey during his morning show on VH1, Big Morning Buzz Live, that they were indeed the godmothers to baby girl James.

Lachey asked her, “You’re still very close with your…co-stars and the three of you are godmothers to Blake Lively’s baby – is that a fact?”

To which she responded, “Yes, that is a fact,” and the audience “whoo-hooed.”

Lachey replied, “We don’t know her name but I can only imagine she’s a beautiful little girl.” In actuality, after much speculation and denial from Reynolds, her name was indeed confirmed to be James.

The Sisterhood has remained close since filming the first film a decade ago in 2005, and the second Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 in 2008.

They all attended Lively’s secret nuptials in South Carolina back in September 2012, as well as Tamblyn’s wedding to David Cross a month after.

Most recently, the girls reunited last October to support Ferrera in her play, Lips Together, Teeth Apart.

The Sisterhood is not over, and even more exciting: there’s a third movie in the works, meaning the fangirling will continue on (forever).
