WATCH: Vin Diesel Sings ‘See You Again’ Tribute to Paul Walker

Cue the Kleenex
Vin Diesel recalls the last thing he ever said to Paul Walker

He’s at it again, folks.

You may know Vin Diesel as the jacked and bad-ass Dominic Toretto from the Fast and Furious franchise. What you may not know, though, is that the 47-year-old enjoys singing, too.

Last year, Diesel sang Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” during an interview for his movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Six months later, he uploaded a video to Facebook where he jammed to Katy Perry and Beyoncé like nobody was watching. This past Valentine’s Day, the actor expressed his love through Maroon 5 and Gwen Stefani’s “My Heart is Open.”

This time around, he’s paying tribute to late friend, Paul Walker, with Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again.”

In an interview with an Italian media outlet, Diesel admits that he loves to sing, even though he can’t really sing all that well. Nonetheless, this doesn’t stop him from belting out a few lines.

He keeps the mood light by joking, “Now I’ve completely embarrassed myself in front of all of my Italian familia!”

But as the actor was prompted to talk about finishing Furious 7 after Walker’s death, things got a little emotional.

“It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I felt like it was unfair to ask us to go back to work in some ways, ” he said, “How do you pretend that somebody is in a scene with you while on the inside you’re mourning and suffering because of that loss? How do you do that?”

“If it wasn’t for the great team that I call family– if it wasn’t for the obligation in honoring Paul… That’s what drove us to the finish line.”

Watch his performance, above.
