Bobby Brown Says Bobbi Kristina Is Awake in New Video

Bobby Brown surprised the crowd at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas yesterday (April 18, 2015) when he told them that his daughter Bobbi Kristina, who has been in a coma since January 31, 2015, is awake.

However, Brown’s emotional statement during his performance is not fully clear because he says, “I can say today, Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me.”

It’s still uncertain if his daughter with his ex, the late Whitney Houston, is out of her medically-induced coma and conscious, and perhaps he made his comment with a spiritual dimension in mind.

Brown performed for the first time since his daughter’s hospitalization last week in Los Angeles, where he told the crowd his thanks and said, “Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now, but I’m giving it to God and letting him deal with it.”

The family has continuously held onto hope that Bobbi Kristina will wake up. Doctors attempted to take her out of a medically-induced coma but she suffered seizures. She then was transferred to a rehabilitation center in Atlanta, her grandmother Cissy Houston confirmed.

There’s been no further word yet from Brown’s people affirming, clarifying or denying his statement.
