This time, we actually get to see the 65-year-old Kardashian-Jenner patriarch sit down and talk about his nearest and dearest: his family.
“Those are the only ones I’m concerned with,” he says in the 38-second clip. “I can’t let myself hurt them.”
As previously reported, Jenner will say “farewell to Bruce” in the TV special and present himself as a woman for the first time.
The Olympic champion also wants to “bring awareness” and “help others in the transgender community,” according to a PEOPLE source. “He wants this to be taken seriously so that his situation can have the most positive impact on society’s perception of the transgender community.”
“Bruce Jenner: The Interview” airs Friday (Apr. 24) at 9 p.m. EST.
