Kylie Jenner finally made a statement surrounding the trending “Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge.”
As we reported yesterday, teens have been attempting what’s been deemed the #KylieJennerChallenge on Twitter in order to create a fuller pout that looks similar to that of the reality star’s. The process includes putting a glass over their lips to create an airlock on their skin for as long as five minutes. The results are not only disastrous but also harmful with injuries ranging from bruises around the mouth to extensive trauma requiring hospitalization.
Thus, after social media blew up with outrage over the challenge, Jenner finally took to Twitter to release a statement:

Though she never encouraged girls to plump their lips, the negative response will surely spark even more debate over whether or not the 17-year-old has gone under knife to get her fuller lips.
